This plugin will send email to the site admin when there is broken url or Image.

This plugin will add a javascript your website to get 404 image notification in your website and send’s mail using ajax and also there is a hook written for 404 page in wp to get notified when there is some broken link

Note : Email id will take site administrator email id if no email id is configured in plugin settings.

Instalación automática

Automatic installation is the easiest option as WordPress handles the file transfers itself and you don’t need to leave your web browser. To do an automatic install of Broken Url Notifier, log in to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the Plugins menu and click Add New.

In the search field type “Broken Url Notifier” and click Search Plugins. Once you’ve found our plugin you can view details about it such as the the point release, rating and description. Most importantly of course, you can install it by simply clicking “Install Now”

The manual installation method involves downloading our plugin and uploading it to your Web Server via your favourite FTP application. The WordPress codex contains instructions on how to do this here.

  1. Installing alternatives:

    • via Admin Dashboard:
    • Go to ‘Plugins > Add New’, search for “Broken Url Notifier”, click “install”
    • OR via direct ZIP upload:
    • Upload the ZIP package via ‘Plugins > Add New > Upload’ in your WP Admin
    • OR via FTP upload:
    • Upload broken-url-notifier folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory

Thank you for this creating this plugin. I use it to make sure users of my website post links correctly, it can also show bad bots trying to scan my website.

Basically, perfect

Simple, virtually no setup, and doesn’t force you to use an icon (which I really appreciate, because it’s far too easy to fall into the quicksand of plugin setup and scaffolding). Email comes in immediately that a broken link has occurred, and it doesn’t interrupt the 404 page I modified in my theme.
