Minimum Requirements

  • WordPress 4.5 or greater
  • PHP version 5.6 or greater
  • MySQL version 5.0 or greater

We recommend your host supports:

Installation

  1. Install using the WordPress built-in Plugin installer, or Extract the zip file and drop the contents in the wp-content/plugins/ directory of your WordPress installation.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
  3. Go to Pages > Add New
  4. Press the ‘Edit with Elementor’ button.
  5. Now you have the Elementor Google Map Extended from the left panel which yu can drag onto the content area.

FAQ

Do I need Elementor Pro for this to work?

Elementor Pro is not required. You only need to have the Elementor Page Builder plugin installed and activated in your WordPress installation.

I am not seeing the Google Map and it is saying Sorry! Something went wrong

You will need Google Map API in order to use Elementor Map Extended Module. You can generate a api key by going to https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key

How do I change the language for the Google Map

Navigate to Elementor -> Elementor Google Map. You will able to change your google map language from there.

This plugin causes a critical error. No recent development and not tested on newer versions of Wordpress.

Promising plugin so I paid to upgrade, but support emails are never answered. I now have bugs with it and will have to replace it with a different plugin, as I get no response for any help

If you follow the current instructions, the map will not work. You need to setup a Google map API key first. It's not that difficult but it should be mentioned. Please consider adding this to the installation instructions with a link to the Google page where one can get the right API key.

I am discovering that it does not always play nice with other plugins. Case in point, JetPopup! It prevents one from setting the display settings...you cannot click the "Display Conditions" button to bring up the conditions window, allowing you to configure which pages of your site you would like to display the popup on.
