## Instalación

There’s two ways to install Lightweight Social Icons.

 1. Go to «Plugins > Add New» in your Dashboard and search for: Lightweight Social
    Icons
 2. Download the .zip from WordPress.org, and upload the folder to the `/wp-content/
    plugins/` directory via FTP.

In most cases, #1 will work fine and is way easier.

## FAQ

### How do I add a widget with my icons?

 * Make sure Lightweight Social Icons is activated.
 * Navigate to «Appearance > Widgets» and look for the «Lightweight Social Icons»
   widget.
 * Drag the widget into your desired widget area.

Once the widget is added to a widget area, you can expand it and fill in your profiles.

### What options does Lightweight Social Icons have?

 * Choose your own order
 * Title (optional): Choose a title for your widget.
 * Icon size: Choose the size of the icon font.
 * Border radius: Choose the border radius of the icon. Border radius refers to
   the «roundness» of the button.
 * Color de fondo: El color de fondo del botón.
 * Text Color: The icon color.
 * Color de fondo al pasar el cursor: El color del fondo del botón cuando pasa el
   cursor encima.
 * Color del texto al pasa el cursor: El color del icono cuando pasa el cursor sobre
   el botón.
 * Open link in a new window?: Choose to open all of the links in a new window/tab.
 * Alineación: Elige alinear el botón a la izquierda, al centro o a la derecha.

### How do I add my social profile URLs?

In the select box on the left, choose your desired social media site.

To the right of the select box, enter in the URL of your profile on that specific
social media site.

The «Skype» option takes your Skype username.

The «Phone» option takes your phone number.

### Can I assign different colors to each icon?

Not at this time (without custom CSS of course). We’re hoping to add this feature
soon.

### Can I display my icons with a shortcode?

No por defecto, pero puedes usar un plugin como este: https://wordpress.org/plugins/
widget-shortcode/

It allows you to add the widget to an arbitrary widget area, and then you can call
that widget using a shortcode elsewhere in your website.

I don't recommend this plugin at all. It signs a useless font which is not displayed
in the front end to the users but creates core web vitals issues on the back end.
The font name is fontello.woff and it is seen nowhere on the front end. Deleting
or adding display swap on the font stylesheet also does not works. Moreover, they
are two stylesheets and cannot decide which stylesheet is used. I don't recommend
using this plugin unless it is the last option to use.

Tom never fails to make amazing plugins and this social icons plugin is no different.
I just hope that there are plans to add a discord icon in the near future. 5/5 plugin!

This is one of the best social icons plugins out there. But I will cut one star
because it lacks the social icon for Tik Tok, one of the fastest-growing social
media out there.

This has been great, but currently does not appear to be compatible with WordPress
