OwnID is a passwordless add-on for your WordPress or WooCommerce website. The authentication flow is web-based and doesn’t require you to install an app. Our complete end-to-end platform works cross-OS, cross-device, and cross-domain. It supports Passkeys out of the box.

Our plugin handles a multitude of login scenarios: new user login, existing user login, phone unavailable, biometrics not supported, and more. Your users will be able to log in quickly and easily, always.

CONFIGURATION STEPS

Sign up to OwnID console.
Select WordPress integration and complete your onboarding.
Copy and paste the AppID and Shared Secret into OwnID WordPress plugin Settings.

How does it work?: User identification is based on device-stored cryptographic keys protected with biometrics. (No phone number is required.)
Does OwnID support Passkeys?: Yes. OwnID supports Apple Passkeys and will provide support for Google Passkeys once they are officially released.
Does the configuring of this plugin require any coding knowledge?: No. It’s a complete no-code integration and can be completed in minutes.
Does the plugin work with WooCommerce?: Yes, it works with WooCommerce login forms.
Do you support multiple languages?: We support over 30 languages. Our plugin automatically detects the language used in the website.

I'm not so sure about the quality of the software itself since I don't trust it enough to actually install it. This is due to my concern about the earlier 10 reviews. All the reviews were from accounts created less than two weeks ago, and all of the accounts have only posted a single review. All the reviews are vague. For example, zivka's review references some "podcast" that mentioned OwnID but doesn't say which one and doesn't specify the name of the dropshipping site. It seems highly likely these are all fake reviews, and I cannot trust a plugin to manage my website's login process if it is willing to engage in deceptive practices from the get-go.

It has been a while since I've been looking around for passwordless solutions for my WooCommerce stores and Wordpress sites - all of them have not been good enough. It is amazing to use this plugin. It has a smooth no-code integration, and it simply works. Love it.
