The plugin is intentionally lightweight. It does not replace StockBurst and it does not run a full inventory system inside WordPress. It helps with setup by creating the required WooCommerce API connection, creating StockBurst webhooks, and sending integration health signals after the store owner connects it. No site data is sent to StockBurst until an authorised user enters a StockBurst one-time setup code, confirms consent, and clicks connect. Requires an active StockBurst account. #### External service disclosure This plugin connects to the StockBurst service selected on the plugin settings screen. By default, this is `https://app.stockburst.co.za`. The plugin sends data to StockBurst only after an authorised WooCommerce manager enters a setup code, confirms consent, and connects the store. During setup and health checks, the plugin may send: * Store URL. * Plugin, WordPress, WooCommerce, and PHP versions. * Generated WooCommerce API consumer key and secret. * Webhook delivery URL, webhook topic status, and webhook health counts. * Integration health status and the latest connection error message, if any. After connection, WooCommerce sends the configured product, order, and customer webhook events to StockBurst so StockBurst can sync inventory, orders, pricing, and integration listing information according to the user’s StockBurst settings. StockBurst account terms and privacy information should be reviewed before connecting a store: * Terms: https://www.stockburst.co.za/terms-and-conditions/ * Privacy: https://www.stockburst.co.za/privacy-policy/ ### Privacy StockBurst Connector does not contact StockBurst or send setup/health data until an authorised WooCommerce manager enters a setup code, confirms consent, and clicks connect. Once connected, the plugin sends integration setup and health information to StockBurst. WooCommerce then sends configured product, order, and customer webhook events to StockBurst. Order and customer webhook payloads may include personal information needed for order processing and StockBurst workflows, including customer names, contact details, delivery details, order line items, order status, and payment/status metadata supplied by WooCommerce. Disconnecting or uninstalling the plugin stops the plugin health check. Existing WooCommerce webhooks and StockBurst account data should be managed from WooCommerce and StockBurst respectively. Install and activate WooCommerce. 2. Install and activate StockBurst Connector. 3. In StockBurst, open Business Settings > Integration > WooCommerce. 4. Generate a one-time setup code. 5. In WordPress, go to WooCommerce > StockBurst Connector. 6. Enter the setup code and connect. 7. Confirm consent on the plugin settings screen. ## FAQ ### Does this require a StockBurst account? Yes. The plugin connects your WooCommerce store to your StockBurst account. ### Does the plugin send data before I connect it? No. Health and setup data is only sent after you enter a StockBurst setup code, confirm consent, and connect the plugin. ### Does this replace manual WooCommerce API setup? No. Manual setup remains available in StockBurst. This plugin makes setup easier. ### Does this work with Takealot? Takealot integrations are managed inside StockBurst.
