FAQ

Can I safely upgrade from V1.x to V2?

Yes, you can upgrade without a problem to the new version. Just be informed that the shortcodes with -nh in the end are not supported any more. Also some attributes in shortcodes have been changed. I would advise you to check your shortcodes and settings after upgrading. All old settings/options will be deleted from your WordPress installation, only the main apikey will be copied to the new database.

Why does the function offline monitors to top change the manual order?

Please upgrade PHP to version 7 or higher to get the ordering correct. Without it you will have to choose if you preffer offline monitors to the top with ordering by id, or manual ordering.

I just integrated this into our WordPress site and it works fine. I used the Read-Only API key from Uptime Robot – although the instructions said to use the Main API key. I don’t like to open more permissions than are needed so was happy that it could use the Read-Only key. I would like to turn off the columns for % uptime over the last n timeframes, but don’t see an option to do this. Not a big deal I suppose. But that is why I took off a star, a little more flexibility in that arena would be better. I had no issues with it causing any kind of layout/formatting/CSS type issues on my implementation.

Great work. Only thing I miss is a shortcode for only showing «Up/DOWN» Maybe it’s there, and I just didn’t find it. 😉 P.S. I just did the translation into Danish. Now waiting for it to be approved. 🙂

The dashboard widget of this plugin interferes with the style and working of existing widgets, making the wp dashboard freeze – so: unusable, uninstalled it. CSS issue? Untested? I installed another Uptime Robot plugin and that just works fine.

Works as advertised. We were able integrate it into our user interface to provide our members with great reporting data right on our site. Now they can check and see if their site is down or what their uptime is without having to open a ticket!
