Day-to-day\noperation \u2014 registering FAQ content, reviewing conversations, managing\nyour plan \u2014 happens in the R2C dashboard, linked from this plugin's\nsettings screen once connected.<\/p>\n\n<p>Source code: https:\/\/github.com\/milechy\/r2c-wordpress-plugin<\/p>\n\n<h4>External Services<\/h4>\n\n<p>This plugin communicates with <code>api.r2c.biz<\/code>, the R2C API, to connect your\nsite, read and save widget display settings, and load the chat widget\nscript. No request is sent until you explicitly connect the plugin from\nthe settings screen.<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Connecting<\/strong>: sends your email address, your site's URL, name, and\nlanguage, and your WordPress\/plugin versions, so R2C can create a new\nfree account for this site and verify you control this site. R2C then\nemails an invitation (to set a password for the R2C dashboard) to that\naddress. Connecting never matches an existing R2C account by email; if\nyou already have an R2C contract, connect with a connection key issued\nin the R2C dashboard instead (see the FAQ below).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Opening the settings screen<\/strong> (once connected): fetches your widget's\ncurrent display settings \u2014 position, offset, brand color, and the list\nof pages\/post types where the widget is hidden \u2014 from R2C, so the\nscreen never shows stale values. Also fetches a read-only usage summary\n\u2014 this week's conversation count, things the AI learned this week,\nyour current plan, avatar on\/off status, published FAQ count, and\nunresolved inquiry count \u2014 to display on the same screen. The same\ndisplay settings are also fetched once right after connecting. The\nposition and color are kept on your site so the widget can be placed\nwithout a request on every page view.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Saving a change<\/strong>: sends only the fields you changed back to R2C.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Resending the invitation email<\/strong> (only when you press the button on\nthe settings screen): asks R2C to email the dashboard link again. The\nplugin sends no address; R2C uses the one you entered when connecting,\nand allows this once per hour.<\/li>\n<li><p><strong>Every front-end page view<\/strong> (once connected): loads\n  https:\/\/api.r2c.biz\/widget\/{your-tenant-id}.js, R2C's own script that\nrenders the chat bubble and generates AI responses to your visitors'\nquestions. R2C offers a free plan. Connecting from the settings screen with the\n\"First time using R2C?\" button always creates a new free account for this\nsite. Your R2C account, FAQ\ncontent, and conversation history are unaffected \u2014 reactivating the\nplugin restores the widget without reconnecting.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"what%20happens%20if%20i%20uninstall%20%28delete%29%20the%20plugin%3F\"><h3>What happens if I uninstall (delete) the plugin?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>All locally stored settings (your connection key, cached display settings) are\nremoved from this site.
