WPC Name Your Price is a simple plugin for enabling open pricing and letting your customers request a preferred price to pay or simply make a donation of their choice. This plugin allows an open negotiation concerning prices and lets customers choose how much they can pay. It’s a truly intuitive and easy-to-use plugin without much to learn.

WPC Name Your Price provides two types of pricing choice: enter a number in the box within/without min & max prices. Users can also define the steps for pricing in the corresponding box. By default, if you leave min/max/step box blank or enter 0 value, then these options will be disabled.

Notably, decimal values are acceptable for Select type. So if you’d like to set decimal prices like $2.50, $3.75, $12.95, etc., this is the right choice. As for this type, users should enter a price value on each line or use a price range to create predefined prices. With this, sellers can easily take control of the price while still offering customers the freedom to choose a favorite price value. This is the most remarkable feature of WPC Name Your Price, which is unavailable to any other plugins of similar kinds.

Nota: Por defecto, según los ajustes de WooCommerce, los usuarios deben introducir un número en la pestaña «General» de la sección «Datos del producto» para que se active el botón «Añadir al carrito». Este precio no es el precio real y no se contará en el total.

Además, es posible personalizar el precio sugerido, el precio mínimo y el texto principal de «Name Your Price» introduciendo el texto en el campo respectivo. Para ocultar estos textos, simplemente deja los campos en blanco. Todo lo que necesitas para personalizar este plugin es muy sencillo con instrucciones claras en los ajustes. Para establecer las opciones generales por defecto para el precio en todo el sitio, ve a «Escritorio» > WPClever > Name Your Price.

The plugin works, but rounding the amount causes a huge problem with the user experience and makes the plugin unusable. I have to edit the plugin directly. -> assets/js/frontend.js line 106 -> replace $input.val(val.toFixed(woonp_vars.price_decimals)).trigger('change'); with $input.val(val).trigger('change');

Super easy set up, works as described. Even free version can do so much more than any other plugin out there. Can be used for free products as well as for products with a price to make a donation.

Would be good if it stopped rounding everything up and down automatically. There’s no way for the plugin to turn rounding on/off. Looking through the forum, it’s been raised for months but nothing has been done about it. Seems like a fundamental flaw? Be wary about installing as it doesn’t appear to be an actively maintained plugin.

This is a very great lightweight plugin that offers customers to donate for free products. It would be great to have that «donation input» once again in the shopping cart (div.cart-collaterals), so customers can also consider a donation before proceeding to checkout. We offer free music downloads that are bulk-added to cart with a voucher code attached. So noone sees the donation input. Would be an awesome update!

Great plugin, have had no problems so far. Only thing I would request is the ability to enable/disable NYP on variations (i.e. digital book is NYP, physical book is $40)
