Crear Página de Posts

Saludos, he buscado por todos lados y no he podido reoslver este problema.

Necesito crear una pagina de posts, para ello creé una página nueva personalizada y en esta quiero poner todas las entradas del blog, con su correspondiente descripcion, titulos, metas y paginación.

Me basé en el tema toolbox.

Me he leido todo en el sitio http://codex.wordpress.org/Pages
Inclusive hay ahí un ejemplo de exactamente lo que necesito.

Pero al ponerlo en mi página no funciona y solo me muestra un textarea para comentarios.

Si alguien con experiencia me pudiera guiar un poco se le agradeceré enormemente.
