• Hello to the WordPress Community

(Please excuse any errors when writing in English)

After an intrusion into my VSP by a hacker (with 4 sites with WordPress), who «planted» the «protect_uploads» plugin (?)

I have recovered a backup of the entire VPS, modified all the database keys, sites and emails. But a complete duplication of the «/httpdocs» directory has appeared in the «/error_docs» directory (with the wp_config.php with the old password of the database user), which caused it to take up unnecessary hosting space (all the duplicate content and plugins!).

I consulted with my Hosting’s technical support and we agreed that I delete the «/httpdocs» directory from /error_docs.

Now I receive an email every day that says:

«/error_docs/httpdocs» (https://…/error_docs/httpdocs): Failed to reset cache for the instance #6: filemng: Failed to change directory to …/error_docs/httpdocs: No such file or directory

System error 2: No such file or directory
filemng: Failed to change directory to <…>/error_docs/httpdocs: No such file or directory

System error 2: No such file or directory»

Please: how can I overcome this problem? Where can I change that «/error_docs» does not look for the «…/error_docs/httpdocs» directory

    The site works normally.

All the html files that are inside the /error_docs directory (in the other 4 VPS sites) have been generated the same day I recovered the backup.

I have never had any problem with this directory /error_docs and I never knew what it was or what it was for beyond hosting error logs on each website.

Thank you for your attention and help

    Mario
