Hippoo Shippo Integration for WooCommerce

It seems like a good attempt to connect WooCommerce with Shippo. However, it has two important problems:1) WooCommerce product settings for the US imperial system is Lbs, while this plugin can only send Lb to Shippo, creating a continuous conflict every time one enters the values of a shipment and rendering the following error message: mass_unit: Invalid value specified for unit u’lbs’. I managed to fix this issue after wasting a lot of time chatting with both Gemini and ChatGPT (with the latter providing a working fix, added via Code Snippets on Functions PHP admin area). However, it is hard to understand how this issue has not bee acknowledged and fixed by the author, without the need of a quite elaborate extra code/workaround)2) The preconfigured/template packages do not admit decimal values, which results in inaccurate label cost calculation.3) Even with the templates set as integers, the plugin renders rogue prices, compared with the real ones (which match the plugin too if instead of choosing a template when creating the label, the admin will click on «Edit» and enter manually all dimension and weight). Example: a USPS Priority Flat Rate envelope, set up as 13″x10″x1′ and 1oz weight, renders shipping costs of over $24, while entering the following parameters for the same shipmen within the «Edit» area – 12.5″x9.5″x0.5″ and 0.5Lbs weight, renders around $6.50-7.50, depending on the destination, which matches the real rates rendered by Shippo’s dashboard itself.4) If products do not fit in one box, the plugin does not create multiple labels/packages (distributing items in packages according to their respective dimension, as expected). The used must enter each package’s dimensions and weight, and create the labels for each one separately (in subsequent steps).I am still giving it 3* because the plugin seems to work properly now (after inserting the aforementioned snippet) and shows a correct rate when manually entering the package parameters. However, we still need to test its capability to notify customer about tracking number and whether it exports properly into Shippo’s dashboard.

Yet another buggy plugin that simply doesn’t work. Error after error after error. Sloppy sloppy sloppy.
