Uso

¿Por qué utilizar este plugin?

A diferencia de otros plugins similares, el plugin 404page no crea redirecciones. Eso es bastante importante porque se entrega un código 404 correcto que indica a los motores de búsqueda que la página no existe y debe ser eliminada del índice.

Además, el plugin 404page no crea peticiones adicionales al servidor.

Requisitos

El único requisito para este plugin es que cambies la estructura de enlaces permanentes en Ajustes > Enlaces permanentes a cualquier otra cosa que no sea «Simple». Esto también activa la gestión de errores 404 de WordPress.

Bloque

The Plugin offers a block «URL causing 404 error» for the block-based editor to show the URL that caused the error. The block offers three display options:

«Page» to show the page including path ( e.g. does/not/exist )
«Domain Path» to show the URL without protocol and parameters ( e.g. example.com/does/not/exist )
«Full» to show the complete URL ( e.g. https://example.com/does/not/exist?p=1 )

Shortcode

The Plugin offers a shortcode «pp_404_url» for the classic editor to show the URL that caused the error. There are three possible options:

[pp_404_url page] to show the page including path ( e.g. does/not/exist )
[pp_404_url domainpath] to show the URL without protocol and parameters ( e.g. example.com/does/not/exist )
[pp_404_url] or [pp_404_url full] to show the complete URL ( e.g. https://example.com/does/not/exist?p=1 )

Gancho de acción

El plugin añade un gancho de acción 404page_after_404 que puedes utilizar para añadir funcionalidad extra. La posición exacta en la que se produce la acción tras detectar un error 404 depende del método operativo. Tu función no debe generar ninguna salida. No tiene parámetros.

Constante

Si el plugin 404page está instalado y activado, define la constante PHP PP_404. Comprueba su existencia para detectar el plugin 404page.
