A promising plugin at first glance, but upon looking deeper, it’s not very usable. Here are the issues: There is no dynamic author tag, rendering the plugin useless for websites with multiple authors It provides MLA citations only. It would be great if at least APA style was included It does not know how to handle titles that already have quotation marks, thus breaking MLA style guidelines It does not convert dumb quotes to smart quotes, which is sub-standard for academic citation

This is a useful little plugin. In a perfect world, it would know how to handle titles that already have quotation marks in them. But okay, not too hard to change such titles to a different quotes, e.g., ‘single’ quotes. In a perfect world, it would behave like the rest of my post and convert smart quotes, if I so desire. Lastly, it would be super cool if the cite suggestion would appear below my Markdown footnotes. Alas, I have to convert such posts to html first. And yet it still saves me time.
