I am using PHP 5.6 and FCKEditor works
When I try to upgrade it stops working. I disable FCKeditor plugin and the wordpress installation starts working again.
So I think it is a compatibility issue between FCK and PHP

In latest WP, 2018 it breaks the admin area for setting/controlling widgets.

I love this plug-in! Works great. Only I need to switch it of if I want to use the widgets. With CKeditor activated only an blank page is visible if I click on Widgets.
When this is resolved it is 5 stars!

CKEditor for WordPress е много лошо направен плъгин. Тествайте плъгина на новосъздадени страници и отделете достатъчно време, за да не се изненадате като мен, за част от опциите на редактора са бъгави и по-скоро чупят сайта.
Не мога да си обясня защо от "cksource" не са си направили труда на добавят линковете към страниците в сайта, а се налага да правя допълнителни действия - това е повече от нелепо - много непрофесионално.
Повече от това не си струва да пиша за този плъгин.
