Why are people hating on this?
Pointless bloatware. Please remove this from the core install.
Last week or so I recieved an email from wordpress regarding a vulnerability being detected with a plugin. I was told nothing harmful happened and it would automatically update for me if I had a particular version (which I did) fast forward- I'm checking my site today to add pictures and MOST of my pictures are MISSING.
I have no idea how long this has been going on and it has cost me BUSINESS. I'm extremely upset as I pay monthly for service and my host (bluehost) said they can't help because it's a WordPress issue.
Hello Dolly is the plug in that is causing this issue. Please fix asap.
I still remember those old days back in 2005/2006 when Wordpress was a blog oriented CMS that just worked. Nowadays, Wordpress is becaming a website builder with tons of blocks and things oriented to stay away from the original idea: writing content. Creating a blog. Now Wordpress killed the blogs 🙁
Because of this, and because I'm part of an old era, I love to keep this plugin. It rememebers me the soul of Wordpress and the small idea to discover some jazz tips inside Wordpress. It added personality to the project.
Thank you Matt for all those years backing the best CMS ever : )
Every time we create a new installation, this plugin makes us smile. It reminds us not to take ourselves too seriously and that no matter how bleak things may look, there's always room for a little kind-hearted sense of humour in our day 🙂
Let's just get over it and move on to new things. This is the most useless plugin ever created.
