This is not just a plugin, this is the plugin for use emoji in a native way in your posts and comments. When activated you will see a new button in your wordpress editor or comments box, from there you will be able to include more than 2,000 emojis.

If the Operative System doesn’t support emoji, this plugin insert an image instead of the emoji code.

Update to 3.0

  1. Visit ‘Plugins > Update Native Emoji’
  2. Go To Plugin Settings and select your desired options
  3. If somethig looks weird after update clear your browser cache
  4. Visit Any post type from your admin and click on the smiley button in the editor
  5. Visit Any page/post with a comments box

From your WordPress dashboard

  1. Visit ‘Plugins > Add New’
  2. Search for ‘Native Emoji’

Works as expected

I installed it, activated it, and tried it out. The first time I kept getting a lot of 404 errors with images. Deleted and re-installed and it worked.

Nur bedingt tauglich

Eigentlich schade, denn dieses Plugin ist eine sehr gute Idee und auch gelungen umgesetzt, kleine Grafiken, wie man sie aus whatsapp kennt, in seine eigene Seite einzubauen. Allerdings habe ich jetzt zum zweiten Mal über 20 Seiten korrigieren müssen, weil der Bezug zur Grafik verloren geht. Dann sieht man nur noch Fragezeichen anstelle der Grafik. Da es sich um svg-Grafiken handelt, also serverseitige Grafiken, gehe ich mal davon aus, dass im Hintergrund wohl öfters die URL’s wechseln, so dass die Grafik nicht angezeigt wird. Wenn man ein solches Plugin anbietet, sollte auch zu 100% sicher gestellt sein, dass die kleinen Grafiken auch angezeigt werden. Es ist äußerst zeitraubend, diese Dinge permanent zu kontrollieren. Daher habe ich dieses Plugin auch wieder de-installiert.

Really Nice plugin and nice look in the emojis. I will like this to work in Comments and bbpress, then go to 5 stars ;D
