The Setmore widget for WordPress allows you to put a “Book Appointment” button on your WordPress-powered website. Customers on your site can click the button to access your Setmore Booking Page, and book an appointment with you online.

This saves you time from handling appointment scheduling over the phone or in person, while helping ensure your calendar is full of appointments to support your business growth goals.

Every Setmore account comes with a free online Booking Page where your customers can schedule appointments with your business online. The Booking Page lists your staff, services, and availability, and is customizable with your company logo and contact information.

What does Setmore cost?

The basic version of Setmore is free to use for as long as you want. You can upgrade to Setmore Premium on a recurring subscription basis, at $25 USD/month or $199 USD/year.

Can I use Setmore with multiple staff?

Yes. The basic version of Setmore includes up to 4 staff calendars, and each staff profile can have its own login username and password, so your team can manage their own calendars and it’s all tied to one account. You can add up to 20 staff profiles with a Setmore Premium account, and you can request to exceed the 20 staff limit by sending a request to (additional fees apply).

Does the Setmore plugin have any dependencies?

The Setmore plugin uses jQuery, jQuery easing, and FancyBox’s JavaScript and stylesheet. We automatically register these scripts and stylesheet with WordPress as part of the plugin.

  • When the SetMore plugin is installed, you will see the "Book Appointment" button in your sidebar.
  • Clicking the "Book Appointment" button will display a the process for booking an appointment you with on SetMore.
  • Once you've added the folder containing the SetMore plugin to your plugins folder, the plugin will appear in WordPress' Plugins page. Click "activate" to get started.
  • Under the settings menu, you will now see a SetMore link. Click this link to set up the plugin.
  • Within the "Available Widgets" area you will see a SetMore widget.
  • Drag this widget to Main Sidebar on the right, or into whichever sidebar you'd like it included within. Now your "Book Appointment" button will display in your website's sidebar.

Download and install the plugin

  1. Click the download button on this page, then unzip the file on your computer.
  2. Upload the “setmore-appointments” folder to the /wp-content/plugins directory. Do not change the folder name, otherwise the plugin may not work correctly.
  3. In the WordPress dashboard, navigate to the Plugins menu and activate the Setmore plugin.

Link the plugin to your Booking Page

  1. In the WordPress dashboard, navigate to Settings > Setmore.
  2. Where prompted, log in with your Setmore account.
  3. The plugin will automatically add your Booking Page URL to the widget settings.

Adding the Setmore widget to your website

  1. In the WordPress dashboard, navigate to Appearance > Widgets.
  2. Click on the Setmore widget and select an area to install the widget, or drag and drop the Setmore widget into an available area of your template.
  3. The “Book Appointment” button will appear in the chosen area of your website.
