I decided to move away from this plugin and have a custom theme developed because I no longer had confidence in the support experience. My biggest concern was the quality of technical support. I took the time to clearly explain the troubleshooting steps I had already completed, but the responses often repeated the same basic suggestions instead of addressing the actual issue. That made it difficult to resolve problems efficiently and left me feeling that my concerns weren’t being fully reviewed. I use this plugin to help run my business, so reliability and timely support are essential. If a plugin causes downtime or unexpected issues, it can result in lost customers and harm a business’s reputation. Because I couldn’t rely on getting the level of support I needed, I ultimately chose a custom solution that gives me greater confidence. The plugin may work well for some users, but based on my experience, the support fell short of what I expect from a paid product.

«Legacy», but very good

Despite using the block editor on any (new) website, I’m still using SiteOrigin’s on 3 customers pages (since 8+ years) … The developers have done a very good job in developing a clean, easily usable and esp. non-techy-user-friendly editor. Like others (i.e. Elementor), this editor is not bloated, just works (never had any problems) and has a very good feature set.

Works well but too many updates

This plugin works well and is fully supported, but the amount of updates is excessive – 9 so far this year. This can make it more difficult to ensure our websites are kept up to date.

I’ve been using SiteOrigin for 5 years now. Not officially at the beginning with SiteOrigin as my theme had a forked version of it, but I easily moved over to the official one, this one within a year later or so later. Anyway, been using Page Builder by SiteOrigin, SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle, and of course SiteOrigin Premium with 0 issues, and just all work with Classic and TinyMCE.It’s my permanent building structure. So long as they permanently keep supporting Classic Editor / Classic Widgets
