This plugin is exactly what I need to post daily catholic saint. Thank You!!

This does not meet my needs. I need a daily tip for every day of the year, but this plugin will not allow an entry for Feb. 29. Also, I deactivated and deleted the plugin, but doing so did not remove its table from my MySQL database. I had to do that manually. Sorry. Otherwise, it looks pretty good. I did not fully test it though, as this limitation was a show-stopper for me.

I love this plugin! It’s simple and easy to use. I didn’t use it on a widget, I created a separate page for daily tips and used the short code. One «1 star» review said «no support»….I don’t feel I need support and what do we expect for a free plugin anyway?

6 months ago I had an error in importing a CSV file and the author asked me to send him the file to determine the error, which I did. No response even after multiple queries. I suspect that the error is due to a «,» in the text but that hasn’t been confirmed either. 5 months ago the author said an improvement to allow weekly instead of daily tips would be worked on but nothing has happened.

hi there, I use this plugin in some websites. it has some problem in the widgets. it must echo $before_widget and $after_widget. I fixed this in my sites. but I prefer to update this plugin and after updating it goes with that problem. its good to add this codes into widgets.

Asked the developer about allowing theme shortcode in tip database. He responded the same day with an update. Best tip of the day / quote of the day plugin I have come across! Looking forward to using this plugin and future updates.
