You can only install the free version of Vik Booking, not the Pro version. If for some reasons the WordPress Repository installation won’t work, you can contact us to receive the zip installer file and upload it via FTP onto your server.

  • Download the installer zip file from VikWP.com
  • Unzip the archive on your computer’s local drive
  • Upload via FTP the unzipped folder vikbooking onto your /wp-content/plugins directory
  • Log in to your wp-admin section and activate the plugin

No, not at all. However, it took our company 8 years to build the Pro version and we are willing to spend a lot more years of work on this software. We encourage you to evaluate the free version first, and then upgrade to Pro to unlock its potential.

We are a software development company listed as a certified Channel Manager Provider by the major OTAs of the world. We work to deliver a full software solution for CMS and Web Software like WordPress as a valid alternative to the same proprietary and external systems. We make money by selling licenses of the Pro version.

Vik Booking is not a one-page plugin. You can build websites worth a lot of money with this plugin. You don’t need anything else to deliver a complete website, if not a Theme and some experience with WordPress.

¿Puedo construir un portal de múltiples propiedades/apartamentos?

No, ¡no puedes! Vik Booking fue diseñado específicamente para propiedades individuales o múltiples propiedades gestionadas por la misma empresa. Básicamente, no puedes construir un portal con múltiples proveedores donde ciertos usuarios deberían acceder y gestionar solo sus habitaciones y reservas. However, if you are looking to establish real-time API connections with OTAs like Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia, Google Hotel Ads etc.. then you need to use our full solution, which is composed of a one-time fee to purchase the Pro version of Vik Booking as well as the plugin Vik Channel Manager. The only recurring cost, just like any existing (and real) Channel Manager software, is the one to keep the connection active with the various channels. This is the subscription for our certified and award-winning Channel Manager service called «e4jConnect». Please notice that all these services are entirely provided by our company, it’s one single company with no third party connections. We are the software developer company as well as the Channel Manager provider. This makes a big difference.

The Vik Booking plugin works brilliantly, originally we was looking at how to integrate a booking system and a mail system, then found this. It does everything and a lot more, some which we will never use, others might and neat options that just make bookings so much more fluid.  We also got the Booking.com addon so that booking made there can update the calendar, again works every time. When we’ve had an issue support have fixed the problem or given guidance on how to resolve the problem. Without hesitation I would recommend for anyone that requires a booking system for a holiday let, hotel or like us just a small 3 room B&B,  The support we've received from everyone, we cannot thank you enough for the help.

This plugin is excellent for hotels, apartments etc. Although I didn't end up using it because we moved to a management company that deals with the bookings, I can acknowledge that this plugin had everything we needed. From managing the bookings, to setting up seasonal prices etc, to printing invoices etc. I would like a bit more customizability in some aspects of the plugin, but I contacted their support team and they are eager to help you. They suggested solutions, and even offered to check my issues themselves for me! They even let me know that the next Vik booking patch (1.6.0) would bring a lot of new QoL features.Although I didn't end up using their plugin, which was none of their fault, they issued me a refund (I had purchased it for only a few days) with no problems. That to me, sounds like a company that cares about its customers and they truly try to make sure you are left satisfied.100% would recommend and If you were on the fence about buying it before reading this review, then simply go to their page and purchase!P.S. Marco and Cesare from the support team, you guys are awesome, keep it up 🙂

I’m really impressed. I started to use that plugin at 2020 and it’s been a reliable partner through this time. Extremely great support and does even more than it says. The whole team is amazing and they really helped me get the job done. Keep it this way guys you’re awesome!

Outstanding Support

As a beginner, I had some struggles when starting out my project with VikBooking. The plugin itself is very intuitive, but there were some issues related to Gutenberg. The support offered by vik was incredible. For each of my three questions I heard back a maximum of 30 minutes later. Answers were extremely detailed and written according to my missing knowledge of html. Support team member M. even took the time to fix an issue within my wp-dashboard. I recommend everyone to use this plugin, the backend is super practical and, with some support from the team, there is almost no boundaries. Be aware that you should be comfortable with CSS - don't forget to do all your CSS in the vik-booking backend!

I have one unit which I let out as a holiday let in the Isle Of Wight but I use several channels. I needed a solution that would allow me to update all of them all together, whilst syncing with the website. VikBooking and E4JConnect was it! I'm not very IT literate when it comes to configuring and setting up software such as this but I have worked my way through it and after a couple of days, I'm 90% there. It SHOULD NOT go without mentioning the support I have received from the developers. They are extremely professional, they have thought of everything that someone like me needs and more! I tried other channel managers but they were simply that, channel managers. VikBooking and E4JConnect is a match made in heaven, and for the price you can't go wrong. I don't really know what else to say, these plugins are superb and with the support you receive, you'll be hard pushed to find a better solution, whatever the price. Thanks folks!
