Using on multiple sites pulling from multiple feeds. Works without incident year after year. Hoping for updated version soon.

I used to run our web site with a hard coded front end and SMF pushing content through SSI. When I decided to convert to WordPress, I needed some way to connect the old content to the new site. This plugin was great for that. Over time I went through and updated the old posts with full content and eventually got to a place where I didn’t need the plugin anymore after weening the last diehard user off the old platform. What problems I did encounter I believe to be due to the feed sources rather than the plugin itself, but I do now have some posts with ugly error text in them that I am not sure how to clean up. That said I’m not knocking the plugin for that as I don’t really know where the problem came from. This was about as perfect as I could hope for short of figuring out for myself how to convert the content directly from the MySQL databases.
