No puedo eliminar barra de busqueda

    En mi sitio web aparece una barra de búsqueda (search box) en la parte superior, por encima del encabezado. La persona que quiera ayudarme puede ingresar a http://www.dynaxconsulting.com y ver el «search box» en la parte superior izquierda…NO sé como eliminarla!!….Estoy utilizando el theme «Envision». Desde ya, muchas gracias! Sldos.

    Según parece, eso es una zona de widgets llamada «Top Bar Widgets» o algo similar. Si el theme tiene una página de opciones tipo «Theme Options», debe poder configurarse ahí, si no, debe poderse hacer desde la configuración de widgets ( Apariencia->Widgets ).

    De todas formas, si es un theme comercial, lo normal es preguntar al soporte del mismo. Recordad que al comprar un theme, lo que realmente estáis pagando es el soporte técnico del mismo.

    Hola Jose, gracias por tu respuesta!. Revisé >Envision>Dashboard>GLobal Setting>Top bar (top bar widget), y no aparece alguna opcion relativa al searh box: es como si la barra de busqueda no perteneciera ni al Top bar, ni al header, sino «pegada» al background. De hecho, si pruebo alguna búsqueda no funciona…Muchas gracias nuevamente!.

    Un comentario más: la misma barra de búsqueda aparece en el panel de control de WordPress y en la página de inicio (login) a WordPRess (siempre en el margen superior izquierdo)…

    Si te sale en todo el sitio no es problema del Theme.

    Prueba cambiar de theme y saldrás de dudas.

    También podrías desinstalar plugins por si se ha colado algo en ellos. La mejor forma es renombrar la carpeta plugins hasta que des con el problema.

    En caso que esto no funcione tendrás que instalar WordPress de nuevo desde cero. Para ello elimina todos los archivos de WordPress menos la carpeta wp-content y el archivo wp-config.php. Guardalos porque tendrás que volverlos a subir a la instalación «limpia».
